If Chargeback method is set to "No Charge", after adding price it will not be displayed to user on Catalog search page.
Resolution
For any entity price to be displayed on user side, the Chargeback method plays important role.
Please use below steps for Item level price update. For scheduled offering level price update, make sure the tChargeback method is set to other than "No Charge" for both Item and scheduled offering. And the Price is present in Pricing tab of scheduled offering level if the checkbox for "Scheduled Offering Can Override Item Prices" is checked. This configuration is present at Item details -> Related -> More -> Pricing
- Go to Item -> Related -> More -> Chargeback and select any Chargeback method other then "No Charge" to allow the item price to be displayed to user on Catalog search page. Save the changes.
- Go to Item -> Related -> More -> Pricing If you would like to update Price, you may change price and follow next steps for Price change as follows. If no then make sure the Price is not zero.
- To update the price in Master Inventory of Item, click on Yes in next step.
- In step 2, define new price for Item or Scheduled Offering.
- In step 3, select the checkbox for "Apply price change to catalogs" and click on Next.
- Select the Catalog(s) for which the Price changes should be reflected and click on Next.
- Select Orders for Price Change.
- Click on Finish.
NOTE: A Price charged to a user is always the Catalog Price so it must be in a Catalog to trigger an order. This applies to all item's classifications, as per Product Manager confirmation.
