2222666 - EC integrated VP template cannot assign EC imported records to their bonus plan

Symptom

Not able to attach users imported through EC to their Bonus Plan with the "Eligibility & Proration" report.

Go to "eligibility and proration" menu and run the report and the report is empty. According to the eligibility rule there are many users eligible.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the variable pay template > Plan Setup > Reports dropdown > Eligibility and Proration.
  2. Choose bonus plan radio button > all and hit calculate.
  3. Report is generated and can be viewed under Manage Scheduled Reports.
  4. Notice the report is blank.

Cause

For EC integrated template you are using "Eligibity rule" instead of "EC eligibity rule" or the "EC eligibility rule" for the bonus plan is empty/not selected.

Resolution

If the employee history record is imported from Employee Central (the Record type value is "Employee Central") then this record will be evaluated by EC eligibilty rule of Bonus Plan.

EC bonus eligibility rules need to be created and linked with each bonus plans.
