2224058 - monCachedProcedures may show multiple rows of the same stored procedure - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When you execute a stored procedure that creates a temporary table with an index in a user transaction multiple times, ASE will not reuse an existing plan for this stored procedure from the procedure cache (as expected).

  • Instead, it will create new copies of query plan.

  • As a result, you will find multiple rows of the stored procedure through monCachedProcedures.
