Symptom

When trying to open the backup configuration tab one of the following errors popup from the SAP HANA Studio GUI

'Check backup readiness' has encountered a problem
Error while retrieving environment properties
Error while retrieving environment properties
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The configuration parameter 'basepath_logbackup' is not set

or

'Check backup readiness' has encountered a problem
Error while retrieving environment properties
Error while retrieving environment properties
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The configuration parameter 'basepath_databackup' is not set
