SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

2224933 - Pay Statement Error: EA-HR code line is not active OR There’s a problem with the Employee ID.

Symptom

While trying to display the Employee Central Payroll Direct Pay Statement Service or a Mashup in SuccessFactors Employee Central, the following error is raised:

  • Error Code: 301
    Error Message: The system failed to request a service response.
    Root Cause: An exception was raised. EA-HR code line is not active.

You may also face the following error:

  • There’s a problem with the Employee ID. Check if the employee information was added to the system & try again. If it continues, please contact your Admin.

NOTE: the customer could be using Standard EC Payroll Pre-Packaged Content for Employee Replication,

IMPRTANT: this could also happen when accessing the Payroll Control Center or any other Mashups.
