Symptom

When employee details are entered while trying to create a Shopping Cart system throws the below given error message:

Source fields for creation of REQUESTDETAILS_WO along association ROOT/REQUESTDETAILS_WO cannot be mapped.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Project Management work center.
  2. Select the link Go Shopping under Common Tasks.
  3. Enter the employee in the field Employee in step 1 Set Defaults.
  4. You may receive the above error message.

Cause

Self-Service Procurement (Shopping Carts) is not activated in the scoping.

Resolution

Follow the below steps to scope shopping cart:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the view Implementation Projects.
  3. Select Edit Project Scope.
  4. Go to step 3: Scoping.
  5. Select the expand Purchasing.
  6. Select the expand Self-Service Procurement.
  7. Select the check box Shopping Carts.
