2227380 - Missing VPD013 (&1 is not maintained in sales area &2 &3 &4) message when using BAPI

Symptom

  • Sales order is created with bapi e.g. BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
  • Input Partner data contains a Partner which is not maintained on Sales area for which the sales document is created. 
  • Error message VPD013  (&1 is not maintained in sales area &2 &3 &4) is expected like in transaction processing (VA01,VA02 etc.), but it is not issued and sales order is created.
  • The given incorrect input Partner is exchanged from Customer master record of 'Sold-to party'.
