2227451 - Error V1 071: Valuation Type Not Defined When Changing Material Number via BAPI

Symptom

  • The system displays error V1 071 for batch valuation material when using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to modify the material number in a sales order. 
  • In transaction VA02, this is presented as a warning message, allowing the change to be completed.
