2227549 - Location Type Indicator Not Valid

You are trying to block a Transport Lane in your system, but the system displays the following error message: Location type indicator not valid.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Navigate to the Transport Lanes view.
3. Select the relevant Transport Lane.
4. Click the Change Status button and select the option Block.
5. System displays the above error message.

The transport lane you are trying to block has both Ship-To Site and Ship-From Site assigned to it. However, the site which is assigned as Ship-To Site in the transport lane is not marked with the role Ship-To Location in its master data.

Please follow the steps below to assign the Ship-To Location role to your Site:

1. Go to the Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Select the Locations view.
3. Search for the relevant site, select it and choose the Edit button.
4. Tick the Ship-To Location checkbox and choose the Save button.
5. You will be able to successfully block your Transport Lane without any error messages once you have performed the above steps.
