2227570 - Migrating ASE to higher version on Linux using Sybmigrate reported error - SAP ASE

Symptom

When using Sybmigrate to migrate a 15.0.3 Solaris server to 15.7 Linux server, the following errors are reported:

  • Msg 4837, Level 16, State 2
    Server xxxxx, Line 1, Status 2, TranState 0 Bad row data received from
    the client while bulk copying into object 656002337 partition 672002394
    in database 10. Received a row of length 17 whilst maximum or expected
    row length is 33.

  • Errors reported in the 15.0.3 Solaris error log:
