Symptom

  • Installation of patch/update does not complete successfully
  • Design Studio/Lumira components not installed after update is completed
  • Error message in setupengine.log (<BIINSTALL>\InstallData\logs\<date/time>\setupengine.log):
Using install file: "C:/Program Files (x86)/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/win64_x64/_boe.install".
ERROR: An unexpected internal error occurred. AddNode - The Server Intelligence installation has not been initialized in this repository. (FWM 23004)
