Symptom

When configuring a Teradata Smart Data Access (SDA) connection, the following errors are encountered:

In HANA Studio:

"SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified"

In a terminal session testing with 'tdxodbc':

$ /opt/teradata/client/13.10/odbc_64/bin> tdxodbc

"tdxodbc: /usr/local/lib/libodbc.so: no version information available (required by tdxodbc)"
