2231467 - 'System clock has been set back' - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • After automatic host adjustment for leap second in July, SAP IQ 16 secondary node fails to start or enters grace license mode with the error "system clock has been set back".
  • A number of system files have time stamps in the future.
  • Startup error message is as follows
DBSPAWN ERROR: -82
Unable to start specified database: autostarting database failed
Using licenses from: /opt/sybaseiq/software/iq16/SYSAM-2_0/licenses/SYBASE.lic:/opt/sybaseiq/servers/CI02/data/*.lic
Failed to obtain license(s) for IQ_CORE feature from license file(s) or server(s).
System clock has been set back.
