2231573 - Department cannot be set to Active

Generic Object Department is currently set to Inactive. When trying to make it active we receive an error. The error appears to be due to an association DepartmentApprenticeDetail.

When trying to export the Generic Object but because it cannot be changed to active will not display in the import/export menu.

While trying to change the status of Department object error received:

Root Cause:  Instance provisioning à Search the option ‘Enable Apprenticeship Management’

Go to Provisioning --> Company Settings

 

1. Just enable the "Apprenticeship Management" feature and save the provisioning settings.
2. Log into the instance and go to Admin Center > Configure Object Definitions UI and change the Department object status to active
3. Go back to provisioning and disable the feature "Apprenticeship Management" again.
