Symptom
- When searching in BI Launch Pad, an error message is shown that An error occurred while searching. Index is not ready. Please try again later (PSS 01004). (PSS 01004).
- Number of indexed documents is always 0.
- Indexing status at Delta Index To Be Merged Queue and never reach the last step - Content Store Merge.
- When using SAP BI Platform Support Tool to run the report, you find that the value of SI _PLATFORM_SEARCH_SERVICE_CONTENT_ACTION in Platform Search Application is 0. Which means that Platform Search is not running actively.
