2231635 - Pay Component Group Sums - How does the system pick the Currency used to display Pay Component Groups in the UI and Ad Hoc Reporting

Pay Component Groups are displayed in the wrong currency for the employee.

How does the system determine which Currency to display in the Pay Component Groups displayed on Compensation Information page?

The currency used to display Pay Component Groups in the Compensation Information UI, is decided upon by the system, based on a set of criteria.

Please note that the criteria is carried out in the order defined in the guide. We recommend to maintain the currency in one of the first points to maintain consistency. The reasoning for this is due to the fall back. The final place checked is the currency of one of the users pay components. If a user has multiple pay components maintained from the Pay Component Group, it is the first Pay Component returned from the Data Base. As this can differ from Employee to Employee this may lead to inconstancies on the currency used.
