2232119 - Accruals Continue To Be Posted For Terminated Employees

Symptom

Accruals continue to be posted for Terminated Employees.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  • Even though employee is terminated, accrual still get posted in the Time Account.
  • Once an employee is terminated the accrual process should stop. 

Resolution

  • Accrual posting for employees depends on the eligibility status. By default the eligibility status is Yes.
  • Therefore, if for any circumstances such as employee being terminated, the employee should not get accruals posted, then the Time Off Configuration should be set for that.
  • For setting the Time Off Configuration object, refer handbook Time Off Configuration
  • After creating the Time off Configuration, save the changes. Based on the configuration the accruals for the employees will be posted.
