Symptom
- Federation using corporate identity provider (SAML Based) has been enabled in the SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit.
- Requests send to SAP Web IDE are redirected to the custom identity provider which authenticates successfully and sends the logged in username back.
- However at this point SAP Web IDE gets back an error "HTTP 403 forbidden" (and not "HTTP 401 unauthorized" which would be expected). No additional reasons or logs are provided why it failed.
