2232490 - Error in PI while waiting for a response from Boomi: remote host not reachable

The integration is set up between PO and Boomi . The communication is a syncronus call for PO system where the cost center IDoc is sent from PO to Boomi and PO channel waits for Boomi to send the response back.

If the Boomi process takes greater than one minute PO receives an error "Axis: error in invocation: java.io.EOFException: Connection closed by remote host" . But this error wouldn't cause any trouble for replication from Boomi to success factors system.

But if the Boomi process takes lesser one minute PO receives the confirmation acknowledgement back from Boomi

Create a IDoc with more than 500 records or the IDoc that could take more than 1 minute to process in Boomi . Once the IDoc is triggered we can see the flow from PO to Boomi and to Success Factors.

If the Boomi process takes more than 1 minutes the host connection closes.

The issue is due to time out settings ; which would close the connection if it would be more than a minute.

Check with the On Premise proxy team and validate the timeout set since the time Proxy would be closing the connection for the message to reach back PO
