2. Home icon does not appear in the global header next to Home menu Drop Down

As per SAP standard with SuccessFactors UI Version - FIORI Home icon is not needed. The Company logo on top left corner serves as Home Icon when user wants to go back to Home page from any other screen within Instance. This is controlled by Disable SAP Fiori 3 Header under Company System and Logo Settings.

Enable SAP Fiori 3 Header is now a admin Opt-out feature to disable/enable the featurer navigate to  -> Company System and Logo Settings and select/unselect Disable SAP Fiori 3 Header.

H2 2011, the SAP Fiori 3 header is enabled by default. In this example, you can see what the global page header looks like when it's enabled. It is expected that the Home icon  does not appear in the Global Header next to the HOme menu Drop Down.
