How to disable class notifications at either the global level or per class in Learning?

To disable notifications at the class level:

  1. Navigate to Learning Administration > Search for the Class record >
  2. Go to the "Details" tab >
  3. Search for "Email Confirmation for Admin-Initiated Actions" and "Email Confirmation for User-Initiated Actions" sections >
  4. Uncheck these email settings as per business requirement.

To disable at the global level:

  1. Navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Application Administration > Registration Settings >
  2. Search for the "Email Confirmation Defaults for Administrator and User Actions" section >
  3. Uncheck for User, Manager, Instructor, Contacts, and Organisation as per business requirement >
  4. Click "Apply Changes".

Important: Newly created classes will have these same configurations at the class level (in both the locations of offering shown above). Previously created classes will not have these changes propagated to them and must be updated manually.

NOTE: These settings do not apply to VLS notifications, if the class is VLS enabled, the user will still receive the VLE notifications.
