2234444 - Onboarding not accepting email with an apostrophe

Symptom

  • Error received at Post Hire Verification step " Enter Valid Email Address".

Environment

  • Post Hire Verification Step when entering new employee's address.

Reproducing the Issue

  • When entering the new hire email address during Post Hire Verification Step on the SAP_Standard_NewHire-Setup panel I receive an error message.

Cause

  •  The error is caused by the regular expression that is configured on the email fields in the SAP_Standard_NewHire-Setup panel.

Resolution

  1. Expected Behavior
  2. At the moment Onboarding does support regular expression on the SAP_Standard_NewHire-Setup panel.
