Resolution

As per the system is currently designed, in order to change posting dates, the recruiting user must click Remove Posting, adjust the dates, and click Post Job again. It is not possible to change the job posting date without unposting it on Career Site. According to the information in the guide:

  • On any posting type, recruiting users can select an end date when the posting ceases to appear. If no end date is selected the job will be posted until manually removed by a user.
  • The posting dates don’t display a time stamp but time is factored in.
  • Postings begin at 12 a.m. on the posting start date, and end at 11.59 PM, at the beginning of the selected expiration date. The posting start and end date times will be based on the timezone of the logged in user who posts the requisition. There is no way to configure a time to be visible or editable.

Sometimes, when a user whose timezone differ from server's timezone, there might be some variations. The Posting Start Date might show one day earlier, or the Posting End Date might show one day later than the current posting, but the times will be correct, its just a calculation crossing the user timezone against the server timezone.
