2235633 - Reports invalid port number/ .cfg or .db files from parameters could not be found - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • Not able to start IQ servers with databases at configured ports.
  • The ports are accepted by DEMO database but not by other databases.
  • Start DB at port 3201
    cd /usr/sap/sybase/IQ-16_0/nls/usr/sap/sybase/IQ-16_0/bin64/
    start_iq @iqnls.cfg -n gssyb0vr_iqnls -x 'tcpip{port=3201}' iqnls.db

    Error message:
    DBSPAWN ERROR: -81
    Invalid database server command line
    Invalid port in IQ during server start
