Environment

Resolution

Mass deletion of the MDF data can be performed both on Top Level objects with or without associations or perform import to delete only the composite associations of a certain parent object.

Operators available for deleting the data:

  • Delete is used to delete root object or parent object data
  • Delimit and Clear can be used only associations. Delimit is for deleting a specific record of a child object from a parent object whereas Clear is used for deleting all the records of a child object from the parent in forward propagation.

Follow the steps below to delete MDF data of the required MDF Objects:

  1. Login to your SuccessFactors instance
  2. Navigate to Admin Center --> Import and Export Data
  3. Export Data of the required root/top level object MDF object as shown in the screenshot below

        5. Now import the file by navigating back to Admin Center --> Import and Export Data and import the file. Once the import is completed, you will notice that the different effective dated records of data for the child will be deleted for the MDF Object.

NOTE: Operator DELETE is not supported for Full Purge import

For deleting the data for the child objects, follow the steps below

  1. Export Data of the required child(associated) MDF object as shown in the screenshot below
