Symptom

  • In Process Integration (PI), the File Sender channel keeps failing with errors such as:

FTP response 421 received. Server closed connection

  • The traces contain the following error:

[EXCEPTION]
 java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error
 at java.net.SocketOutputStream.socketWrite0(Native Method)
 [...]

  • You were able to rule out any network related issues
