2236895 - Changing an Expired Password does not work - SAP Work Manager 6.1

Symptom

  • Changing an expired password on Work Manager 6.1 does not work
    • We have implemented the BCP36547_201505151200.jar as described in SAP note SAP note - 2160699
  • The Agentry app during transmit states

    Transmit dialog:

    logs into the server, receives error Password Change Failed. Problem in BAPI Create

    (/SYCLO/CORE_SUSR_CHANGE_PASSWD): Name or password is incorrect (repeat login) on [Server name SYSTEM NUMBER 05].  -> Note: Where Server name is the server of the SAP System

  • JAVA.LANG.NULLPOINTEREXCEPTION: WHILE TRYING TO INVOKE THE METHOD JAVA.LANG.OBJECT.HASHCODE() OF A NULL OBJECT LOADED FROM LOCAL VARIABLE 'K'
