As part of US legal change for tax year 2015 Smartforms and Adobe forms for 1099/1042-S reporting have been updated as per latest format. The changes were delivered within notes:
2227185 - US Legal Change 2015 - 1099 and 1042 Smartforms and Adobe Forms (relevant for release 600 and above)
2227186 - US Legal Change 2015 - 1099 and 1042 Smartforms and Adobe Forms (relevant for releases 470 and 500)
The major changes provided by above notes include a new check box as follows:
1. 1099INT - "FATCA filling requirement" checkbox introduced.
2. 1099MISC/MISC1 - "FATCA filling requirement" checkbox introduced.
