Unable to add content in the Employee Referral Information Section. Experiencing error - 'You have reached the maximum character limit of 300'

Go to Admin Tools--> Employee Referral Program Set up -->Employee Referral Programme - Programme Information

Add content of your choice where the system shows a limit of 300 characters.

Actually the limit is not 300 characters BUT 300 bytes.

Please use this tool https://mothereff.in/byte-counter to count the number of BYTES that you input into the information section.
