2237993 - Initial User and Setup of C4C System

Symptom

You are unsure how to set up your C4C System with the Initial User.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer Sales / Service

Resolution

  1. You receive a Welcome E-Mail with an Initial User link.
  2. Use this link to log into the System for the first time.
  3. Create a Service Agent including Password and all required Authorizations and Access Rights.
  4. Log off.
  5. Log in as Service Agent.
  6. Lock the Initial User.
  7. Perform all administrative settings.

Please note: In C4C systems the Initial User does not need to perform any Scoping steps, as the Service Agent can do that as well.
