2238270 - If you Convert the Lead to Opportunity the Lead Owner does not get Copied Over to the Opportunity Owner

If you convert the Lead to Opportunity the Lead Owner does not get copied over to the Opportunity Owner.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Leads facet.
3. Show All and search for lead XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the lead).
4. Go to Actions and select Convert to Opportunity.
5. The created opoortunity does not have the same owner as it was in lead, the copy of owner is to opportunity is not working.

The owner in opportunity is not copied from lead but rather it is determined in opportunity itself based on party determination rules maintained for opportunities in Business Configuration.Owner is an exception to the copy rules during conversion. Based on the Business Configuratio Fine-Tune settings the owner can get determined by account team , territory team , responsibility or current user .

This is the expected behavior of SAP Cloud for Customer.
