To solve a performance problem, optimizer statistics with a higher precision are already calculated for a table according to an SAP Note or a suggestion from SAP Support. This results in a better execution plan and thus less runtime of an sql statement. To permanently solve the situation the calculated optimizer statistics values should be preserved and never changed by any statistics calculation job in the future (e.g. "frozen").
