Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to an employee's Job Information
  2. Select Take Action > Terminate

If a user has been unintentionally terminated and there is termination record in job history, then you can delete the termination record in job history which will remove termination for employee and makes employee active again.

If the termination section remains even after doing this step or if there is no termination record in job history but employee shows terminated, then refer KBA - 2317955 - Correct or Remove Job Information record via Import in Full Purge mode, to perform a full purge job informtion import.
