Symptom
You have terminated an employee by mistake. You wish to undo the termination event and restore the employee to Active status.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core - All Versions
- Employee Central - All Versions
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to an employee's Job Information
- Select Take Action > Terminate
Resolution
- If a user has been unintentionally terminated and there is termination record in job history, then you can delete the termination record in job history which will remove termination for employee and makes employee active again.
- If the termination section remains even after doing this step or if there is no termination record in job history but employee shows terminated, then the best way is to perform a full purge job history import (PS: without termination event that you wanted to remove).
