2239536 - concurrent SELECTs and 'update statistics" on large tables fail with Error 7794: SAP ASE

You find that sometimes, while the "update statistics" runs on certain large tables, concurrent SELECTs (isolation level 0 scans) on the same table fail with the errors: SQL error: "SQL code: 7794" occurred while accessing table "ABCD".

Database error text: "SQL message: [ASE Error SQL7794] [SAP] [ASE ODBC Driver]
You cannot scan table 'ABCD' at isolation level 0 because another process is runing a utility command
that is incompatible with level 0 scans. Please retry later.#"

On SAP systems, above errors will appear in ST22 short dumps or in SM21 system log. Per ASE documentation, 'update statistics' is compatible with level 0 scans.  We see isolation level 0 scans on large tables to fail with Error 7794, despite this allowance.
