2240108 - ASE16 updatable cursor does not fire trigger - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Running an updatable cursor against a table with an update or delete trigger fails to fire the trigger
  • The update or delete statement employs the “where current of some_cursor_name” clause.
  • Customer did not encounter this issue in 15.x , only encountered in 16.0 SPx
