Symptom

End Users receive the following error message when attempting to Submit a mitigating control change for approval:

  • Submit failed

An error can be also found in MSMP Instance Runtime Monitor (transaction GRFNMW_DBGMONITOR_WD): 

“Submission failure of request <name_of_the_request>/CONTROL/L/XXXXXXXX - Process ID SAP_GRAC_CONTROL_MAINT”
