2240731 - The 'Name' Field Under the 'From' Section of the E-mail Does not have the Hyperlink

Symptom

The Name field Under From section of the E-mail does not have the hyperlink.

You expect that the users should be able to directly navigate to the contact who has sent the e-mail.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Activities work center.
  2. Go to the E-mail facet.
  3. Open any email.
  4. Go to the Overview tab.
  5. The Name field under the From section of at Header does not have hyperlink, so you cannot open the contact directly from the e-mail.

Cause

The system is not designed to open the contact directly using the From field of the E-mail activity.

Resolution

This is a new requirement and we have added it in our product backlog for future release.
