2241310 - Error when attempting to open Help after upgrading to 64-bit - SAP PD

Symptom

  • After upgrading SAP PowerDesigner 16.1 to SAP PowerDesigner 16.5.5 (64-bit), Help does not show. The Help file is still pointing to the old (32-bit) location. The following error is displayed:

Could not find help file at this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sybase\PowerDesigner 16\core.chm

  • After upgrading SAP PowerDesigner 16.x (32 -bit) to SAP PowerDesigner 16.x (64-bit), some of the Named Paths (RTF report template, HTML report template, Conversion Tables, etc.) are still mapped to the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Sybase\PowerDesigner 16\' (32-bit) directory instead of the 'C:\Program Files\SAP\PowerDesigner 16\' (64-bit) directory.
