2241521 - Auto-Layout removes anchor points from links causing lines to cross over objects – SAP PD

Symptom

  • In SAP PowerDesigner, (PD) 16.1, the diagram is using bezier curves which is used to prevent any link (reference) from crossing over a table. If Auto-Layout are selected in v16.1, the anchors remain on the links and they do not cross table symbols.
  • In PD 16.5.5 PL2, selecting Auto-Layout will remove all anchors from the links (references) (except for the two attach points). This results in the diagram displaying straight lines between connected objects and Links crossing objects (tables) which is not desired.
