Symptom
This Knowledge Base article provides an explanation of what the Awating status actually means within SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0
Reproducing the Issue
- In Onboarding navigate to Settings > Mail Queue
- Filter by "Awaiting Status"
- Click "Apply Filter"
- If there are any email(s) in awaiting status, it will be displayed as shown below:
Cause
There might be few delays from the server side.
Resolution
Please be aware that with the Awaiting status, there might be few delays from the server side that might have caused the long period of "Awaiting" status, but be rest assured the email will eventually go through.
For future reference, Awaiting status will not cause any impact and should not be a concern. However, if you get a Failed status then we can assume the notification(s) was not sent.
If you notice a significant number of emails currently in the Awaiting status for over 30 to 45 mins, please create a support ticket for further investigations and provide the following details:
- Onboarding Company ID
- DataCenter
- Support Access
- Affected candidate(s)
Note to Support Engineer: Please review internal memo for possible resolution.
