2241854 - How to Enable the Inline Resume Viewer - Recruiting Management

• This KB article discusses the Inline Resume Viewer (also known as the Resume Carousel) which allows users to view images of resumes and cover letters in the web browser.
• This is without requiring users to download the documents and open them in a Separate application, such as MS Word or Adobe Acrobat.
• Recruiting users have the ability to mass print and mass save candidate resumes and cover letters from within the inline resume viewer.

Ask your Implementation Partner to enable this feature from Provisioning > Company Settings: Enable inline viewing of resumes(Inline Resume Viewer).

If you are no longer work with an Implementation Partner, you can submit a change request to SAP Support. To do this, download the approval document from the following KBA:

• Request item: Enable inline viewing of resumes(Inline Resume Viewer)

Note: A warning will be displayed when enabling the feature from provisioning. However, this warning can be ignored. No migration or extra configuration is required for resumes that are already available in the system before this feature is enabled.

• Warning: The “Enable inline viewing of resumes” feature requires migration of existing resume and cover letter attachment files. If the company is not a new company instance, please read the Recruiting 2.0 Configuration Guide and follow the proper steps before using this feature. 

The inline resume viewer can be launched in 3 ways:

• From the applicant list in a job requisition, check the boxes next to one or several candidates and then click on Action > View Resume:

• From the Candidates application, click on Resume:

• From Candidate search, check the boxes nest to one or several candidates and click on View Resume:

NOTE: You will need to ensure permission have been provided for the resume field to the operator in order to be able to view the resume in the resume viewer.
