2241971 - You are not able to Set-up Communication Arrangement for the Messaging Service

Symptom

You are not able to set-up Communication Arrangement for the Messaging Service.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the General Settings view.
  3. Select the Communication Arrangement under Integration.
  4. Select the New button.
  5. Messaging Service is not available under Communication Scenarios list.

Cause

You have not scoped the Messaging Service in the Business Configuration. 

Resolution

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
  3. Select the relavant project and choose Edit Project Scope.
  4. Go to the step 4 Questions.
  5. Show All Elements.
  6. Expand Sales -> Account and Activity Management.
  7. Select Activity Management.
  8. Select the checkbox for the question Do you want to record the messaging activity?
  9. Finish the scoping.
