Symptom
A Picklist field has WRITE permission in the Job Requisition configuration, but it appears to be not editable when you test it
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
Under this kind of configuration in the Job Req Template:
- FieldA with PicklistA (parent) – No “multiselect” attribute is defined
- FieldB with PicklistB (child) – the attribute multiselect=”true” is defined
- WRITE permissions are granted for some roles
Issue:
If you test the permission creating a Job Req you will see that:
WRITE permission will NOT work for FieldB
Cause
Inconsistency of the attribute “multiselect”: not defined in the Patent picklist field but defined on the child
Resolution
Update the field definition keeping the attribute “multiselect” consistent on both picklist field (Parent and Child)
