Symptom

Using the SAP Expert Analytics, run an analysis using a HANA Algorithm.

It fails with the below message:

"An error occurred while executing the query.Error details: SAP DBTech
JDBC: [423]: AFL error: [423] "SYS"."AFLLANG_WRAPPER_PROCEDURE_CREATE":line 134 col 5 (at pos 4211): [423] (range 3) AFL error exception: AFL
error: Registration of AFLLANG wrapper procedure

"ANALYTICS"."APLWRAPPER_CREATE_MODEL_PAS31_1" failed with error 'invalidparameter description'. undefined"

  • all the Roles and Rights to the User Executing it has been given
  • User has the role AFLPM_CREATOR_ERASER_EXECUTE hence they have the  the privileges SYS.AFLLANG_WRAPPER_PROCEDURE_CREATE & SYS.AFLLANG_WRAPPER_PROCEDURE_DROP
  • PA and APL are in the same version
  • In HANA run the same script directly and this works fine
