2242887 - Planning Run is not being executed anymore.

There is a Planning Run scheduled by the user ABC and it was noticed that this planning run is not being executed anymore. No change was done on its schedule. (ABC means User ID)

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to the Planning Runs view.
3. Select the desired planning run.
4. See that as per its execution logs, the run stopped and is not being executed anymore as per the schedule previously defined.

The reason behind the issue is the user who scheduled the run.

Cause 1 : The user is locked. It can be checked in Application and User Management work center, Business Users view, User Locked field.

Cause 2 : The access rights were changed. The user has no access to planning runs anymore.

When executing the run, system checks if the schedule was done by an authorized person. Since this is not true anymore, the execution of the run stopped.

There are two approaches to overcome this situation:

A) The run can be rescheduled by an authorized user.

or

B) For cause 1, unlock the user.

or

C) For cause 2, provide once again the authorizations to Planning Runs for the user ABC. The run will start to be executed again.
