2242962 - Attachments not Working for Specifics Sales Quotes

Symptom

When trying to attach any file in a Sales Quote, inside the Attachments tab, the screen loads but the attachment does not get attached.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales work center
  2. Select the Sales Quote view
  3. Open the Sales Quote XYZ
  4. Go to the Attachments tab
  5. Select a test file to attach
  6. Click the Ok button, the window will load, however no file will be attached

Cause

If any external follow-up document has been triggered then the document will be basically not changeable in C4C any longer; no attachments can be added nor standard attributes changed. You can check if this the case checking if the Sales Quote has a field named External Reference.

Resolution

This is current and expected behaviour.
