Symptom

One of the following error messages happens during the load with the help of a DTP (the source and the target can be any InfoProvider):

  • Error 6.900 has occurred in the SAP HANA/BWA server
    Attribute engine failed;exception 6900:
    AttributeEngine/Parallel/Aggregation.cpp:419 engine failed;
    $function$=createAggregatorL
    Error 6.900 has occurred in the SAP HANA/BWA server
    Error reading the data of InfoProvider "xyz"
    Error while extracting from source "abc" (type InfoProvider)
    Data package processing terminated
    Data package 1 / 27.03.2015 09:42:49 / Status 'Processed with Errors'
  • RS_EXCEPTION000: inconsistent datatype: only numeric type is available for SUM/AVG/STDDEV/VAR function: line 1 col 2953 (at pos 2952)

 The work process trace of the failed DTP job contains the following information:
