Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
Cause
The issue is being caused by incorrect data.
- Invalid data (pay range & job code FOs) in the system
- Most likely Job code associated with the pay range doesn't exists in the system
Resolution
Invalid pay ranges and job codes can affect your pay ranges matching due to following reasons.
- There are pay ranges associated with non-existing job codes
- These pay ranges have the same matching criteria (attributes) as the expected ranges except for the job code
- Since associated job codes no longer exist in the system, these pay ranges are retrieved as empty job codes
- Pay range matching algorithm will take empty job code (as well as all the empty pay range associations/attributes) as match all
- These broken pay ranges go before the expected ones and get matched before the expected one
Find out the invalid pay ranges and remove them from system or make it inactive.
