2244498 - Error 32 during System Rename: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"

Symptom

During system rename with Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) you get the following error in the sapinst_dev.log:

Error 32 (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. )

[...]

Unable to delete node xxxx with type file: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Unable to move or rename node xxxx with type file/directory xxxx: Error during removing source node. Reverting move operation.
