2244747 - Report Account Contact Data Does Not Show Employee Responsible

You are running the standard report Account Contact Data and find characteristic Employee Responsible is shown as Not Assigned even though there are records in the contact master data.

SAP ByDesign

1. Go to the Account Management work center.
2. Go to the Reports view.
3. Find and open report Account Contact Data.
4. Add characteristic Employee Responsible to the rows.

You find no data for Employee Responsible is displayed. But when you check the Account master data record you will find there is a contact maintained.

The Employee Responsible has not been assigned to the Contact but instead to the Account. However, the Account Contact Data report shows the responsibles of the contact.

You can create a new joined data source with

Account Contact (BPCSCONTB)
and
Account Responsibility (BPCSRSPB)

and then a report on top of this data source. This way you can show the Account and Contact and Direct Responsible Employee of the account in one report.
